Santa's Helper Concept Art
Here are some concept designs I created in conjunction with Edge of LA Productions. I served as Illustrator and Art Director on the pitch book and Key Art Poster. Some of the environment illustrations were done by Brad Sutton.
Hi there, My name is Nick. I thought your concept art looked great and I was hoping I could ask for a favor. You see, I plan on writing an article on my blog in the coming months hopefully in December about Santa Claus for a little fun.
I need a picture of a modern version of the famous Santa Claus suit and since you are a concept artist would you be willing to for free just draw a modern version Santa Claus wearing a suit which would be appropriate in today's society. I would be happy to credit you as the designer.
I just need a drawing or sketch of Santa Claus wearing a traditional suit but with a few modern changes: For example I was thinking a red/white bullet proof vest with white reflective strips, night vision glasses and a utility belt containing protective weapons and gadgets like a candy cane shaped collapsible baton, tinsel handcuffs, gingerbread man two-way radio, storage compartments for milk and cookies, etc.
I just thought perhaps you might be willing to help me out as I doubt I could find a picture like showing a modern version of the Santa Claus suit. My article is going to be about the existence of Santa Claus and how if he did exist how his suit should look to meet the current challenges in today's society. His suit should be made to look more military like.
Feel free to email me gortsphere@hotmail.com if you willing to create a drawing for me for free. If not, still email me and let me know if you are or are not interesting. Thanks. P.S. My blog is The Hidden Doorway which has an older post about Santa Claus which I am thinking of deleting.
